About Giclee Prints

In Giclee printing, screens are not used, this allows for no visible dot screen pattern. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer.

These Giclee prints are made with archival inks and the finest of archival acid-free museum-quality watercolor papers.

Each original print is inspected and goes through several quality control checks before the artist gives their final approval and signs the print.
